One of the resources at UCD that I’m excited to make use of is the National Folklore Collection. One of my classes is on fairytales, legends, and folklore, and we toured the collection earlier this week. As grad students, we’re allowed to come back and make use of its contents whenever we want.
There’s been a strike going on for the past few weeks so the buses haven’t been running on select days.
My parents and I were talking and we realized that some of the things I’ve learned while traveling and living abroad could be helpful for other people. Here’s a list of tips of things that I’ve found useful to know. I’ll update it as I think of more!
Sunday was my first day out of UCD and Dublin city center. Several (hundred) other students and I headed up to Howth, which is located just northeast of Dublin on a peninsula out in the Irish Sea.
Here we are in Dublin! To everyone who last traveled with me in Paris, welcome back, and to anyone new, glad to have you. I hope you enjoy reading about my time in Ireland.
