It's easy to become bitter about the falsehoods of photographs considering how simply they're spun by framing and cropping, cutting and pasting, let alone Photoshopping, but we at Von Verity appreciate flavorwire's idea that the “camera creates its own reality.” In a way it's a testament to technology that not only can we as humans duplicate what already exists, making a more or less permanent image of a transient event, an impressive feat in itself, but that we've been clever enough to tell stories, true or false, with them. Many a word of the thousand ought to be assigned to designing, instead of the design.
